Aim:
This is a one year course which includes 3 days in college and 2 days work placement. The aim is to develop and expand the skills acquired in year 1, with a strong emphasis on all aspects of practical skill.
Entry Requirements:
1.Successful Completion of FETAC level 5 Hairdressing award (Hairdressing year 1 or equivalent)
2.Merit or Distinction in the practical component of Level 5 FETAC Hairdressing
3.Applicants must secure a 2 day weekly work placement in a Hairdressing salon
Progression and Career Options:
Students who successfully complete this course may gain placement as a second or third year apprentice in a high profile hairdressing salon.
Additional course fees apply for kits, uniforms, books, trade exam fees and equipment.
