Outdoor Recreation/Adventure Studies Apply Online

Aims
The course, delivered by DIFE in association with Neptune Outdoor Education Centre, is designed to provide students with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and qualifications necessary to gain employment in the outdoor adventure sector of the leisure industry.

Entry Requirements
Applications are invited from those who have completed Leaving Certificate. Mature students and recent school leavers are also welcome to apply. An interest in health, fitness training and outdoor activities is also essential. All applicants will be interviewed. There are course charges particularly in relation to the non-FETAC elements of the course.

Career Prospects
Successful students will be in a position to apply for further study through the Higher National Diploma in Outdoor Adventure Management. Students will also be able to gain employment in leisure industry enterprises such as Adventure Centres, Sailing Schools, Leisure & Community Centres, Adventure Travel Companies, andYouth Development Work.
