Hairdressing Apply Online

Aims
This two year full-time Course is designed to provide students with the techniques and knowledge required to gain recognised qualifications, as well as enhance their career opportunities in a salon environment. It aims to provide an environment for students to learn the practical elements of Hairdressing, and study the related science.

Entry Requirements
Applications are invited from those who have completed Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Mature students are also welcome. Students should have an aptitude for the relevant area of study. For entry to second year students must achieve a Pass in Year 1 examinations, and secure a two day placement in a salon. All applicants will be interviewed.

Career Prospects
Students who successfully complete the two years of training will have the skills necessary to pursue a career in Hairdressing. The extensive knowledge and skills gained will assist in planning and developing a career, and in building the clientele necessary to achieve a successful career in the hairdressing industry.

Course Validation

FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Hairdressing.
In addition, the course is validated by City & Guilds, and by the Department of Education and Science (Junior and Senior Trades).
