	Fashion Design Apply Online Aims This course has been designed to develop student’s skills, interest and Knowledge in the area of Fashion and Textile Design, and also to promote and inspire creativity within students work. This is a one year course preparing students for entry into 3rd level colleges of art and design or progression into careers in the fashion industry. Entry Requirements For school leavers the completion of leaving certificate or equivalent is required. Mature students with or without any formal qualifications are also very welcome to apply. All applicants are subject to an interview. Career Prospects Entry to 3rd level art and design courses is possible through presentation of portfolio. Also available is an advanced certificate in Fashion Design at DIFE. Alternatively graduates may pursue careers in the fashion design retail industry and related areas.
